Price increase - April 2025
As the sole proprietor of Handy Stanley, I pride myself on providing professional but affordable services. Due to the increase in prices from my suppliers, the cost of fuel and all around increase in living, I will need to increase my prices slightly from 1st April 2025. I will continue to stay affordable and competitive in the local area.
I have tried to hold off as long as possible and really did not want to increase my prices - however, it is necessary in order to keep up with inflation and the increase in operating expenses. I greatly appreciate every single one of my customers, existing and new, and thank each and every one of you for your business.
All bookings already quoted and confirmed will be honoured at the price already quoted. As I am taking on new business from April onwards, new quotes will take into account this increase.

I am a professional painter and decorator, handyman, laminate flooring and door fitter. Based in Bramhall, Cheshire, I have been in business and trusted since 2013. I offer a range of home improvement services from fully redecorating your home, installing new laminate flooring, assembling complex flatpack furniture, trimming a door, or simply by hanging a few pictures!
I am reliable and courteous, enjoy what I do, and am always professional, clean and tidy. I have many loyal and repeat customers who often recommend me to others.
Painting, decorating and wallpapering
Full room redecoration, feature walls, wallpaper stripping, wallpapering, small plaster repairs.
Flatpack, fixtures and small repairs
Fitting curtain poles, blinds, pictures, and mirrors. Installing TV brackets, fitting shelves, assembling flatpack furniture. Hanging new doors or trimming existing doors. Small repairs and odd jobs.
Laminate flooring
Full laminate flooring service, installing underlay, fitting flooring, edge beading, threshold covers, and final touches. Small repairs and refitting flooring as needed.

Preparation
I pride myself on preparation. From sealing newly plastered walls and ceilings, repairing minor damage, and even fitting missing skirting.
Decorating
With a keen eye for detail, and using quality materials, I will decorate your chosen space with pride, ensuring an excellent finish.
Finishing Touches
What sets me apart is that I can fit new fixtures, fittings and even assemble new furniture, to complete your new room.
